Profile _Me : MEET BANNOR - THE VERSATILE RAPPER

Hard to come, Upcomers.net found the Gem in somewhere in Kumasi, within the surrounding of Ghana.  In the titled dubbed "Profile_Me" will uncover the real value of the unique artist. Meet Bannor - The Versatile Rapper.

Bannor
Bannor is my stage name and a versatile rapper. I chose Bannor because of the  fact that is my name, it's easy to pronounce and it roots grounded in Ghana which will let the world know where I'm really from without introducing myself.

I fit in any genre of music  especially Hip Hop and Afro Pop. I have stayed in
Kumasi almost all of my life and I come from a town in the denkyira west district, ASANTE MAMPONG.

Bannor is a Christian. Currently, I'm reading Bachelor of Education accounting in the University of cape coast. When I was a kid I developed a passion for music because my father used to play music in high volumes. Though I couldn't hear the  lyrics of the songs, I could sing along with a kind of murmuring any song that my father plays. Some of the songs were from Legendary DADDY LUMBA (my father's all time favorite musician), KOJO ANTWI, AMAKYE DEDE, YAW SARPONG and the likes. I started writing my own songs at the tender age (which was a song on HIV) bt the lyrics weren't that matured.

The first freestyle I did in front my friends made them my number fans and the hype began. I recorded my first studio song with my SHS entertainment prefect(MeD'Mason) which was titled BABYLON. This song was on almost every students' MP3 in my school and was played at every gathering and school entertainment programs. Having said that, I took it to another level by going for rap competion on radio stations FOCUS FM and K FM  freestyle Saturday. Bannor has quiet a number of songs in his music catalog. Some of the titles of the songs are LIFE, CHURCH GIRL, ACTED LOVE, ANKWADOBI and so on. Not forgeting the song that took university cape coast by storm, UCC MATTERS(entitles anything you will want to know about the University).

People even call it the UCC anthem. I can see my future is very bright because of the massive feedback I receive from any song I release. Hopely, God willing in the next five years I see myself to be recognized as an international artist because I will be on the almost all of the biggest music platform in Ghana and across the globe and is a work in progress. Follow Bannor on all social media handles to listen more of my works.
